Mike's guest this week is David Powles, former editor of the Eastern Daily Press, the biggest local paper in the East of England.  David, who stepped down in 2022, shares with us how he got into journalism, his views on how we can do better as a region, the positive power of the press, and whether the news shapes its readers or vice versa.  This is a great insight into how THE paper of record in Norfolk, North Suffolk and East Cambs finds its voice.
