Big sky. Big potential...this is Eastern Promise.
This week, Mike Rigby talks to Professor Cheryl Davenport, Managing Director of the East of England Local Government Association (EELGA), a membership body encompassing the region's 50 local councils, from North Norfolk and the Suffolk Coast to central Cambridge and the edge of London. We'll hear about EELGA's work, its sustainable growth prospectus and its landmark report evaluating the progress of 'Levelling Up' the East of England.
We'll also hear from the fringes of the recent Parliamentary reception, hosted by MPs and Peers of the East of England All-Party Parliamentary Group, to discuss that EELGA report and identify where the region is at its strongest and where much more still needs to be done.
Our news roundup will call upon you to assist Innovate Cambridge and also lay out the exciting changes at...Eastern Promise?
Finally, where in the East of England do *you* go to clear your mind and soothe your soul. Let's find out in this week's CROWDSOURCERY!
